Elissa joined Innovo Benefits Group in 2017, bringing to our team nearly three decades of experience managing employee benefits — both as a client and a consultant. This unique perspective makes Elissa a highly effective leader of our benefits brokerage services, where she guides our entire account management team and demonstrates a high standard of quality service for our clients. Elissa has become a mentor not only to our team but also to our clients by developing exhibits and presentations that help navigate highly-complex health insurance and benefits options.

In addition to her acumen for leading and mentoring, we greatly value Elissa’s drive to continually challenge herself at Innovo and in her life away from work. She is passionate about biking, motorcycling, and kayaking but also likes the challenge of a stimulating crossword puzzle.

Before joining Innovo, Elissa was an Assistant Vice President at Aon Hewitt and Senior Account Manager/Director of Administrative Services for Summit Benefit Solutions. Earlier, she worked as a Senior Benefits Analyst at Boston Scientific, where she helped manage the health & welfare benefits program for more than 10,000 employees nationwide. Elissa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and she currently holds a license as a Massachusetts Health and Life Insurance Provider.
