Innovo is committed to social justice and community involvement — it’s part of the fabric of our organization. Running a business affords our team opportunities that stretch beyond revenue, and we value sharing our talents and resources to make a difference.

While there’s no shortage of organizations deserving support, we’re working to lift our community through the positive effect we can have on health care and the benefits of employment. By partnering with strategic allies who share the vision of “thinking globally and acting locally,” the Innovo team is focused on smaller U.S.-based organizations where we can make a noticeable and meaningful impact on people’s lives.

We find that participating in our community enriches our team personally and professionally, often in ways we never imagined. As these programs continue to develop, we’ll keep our clients informed on the influence we’re having, how our work with you is playing a part, and how you too can have an impact.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters

Bridge Over Troubled Waters is Boston’s premiere organization dedicated to transforming the lives of runaway, homeless, and high-risk youth through safe, supportive, and encouraging relationships with effective and innovative services that guide them toward self-sufficiency. Bridge services span street outreach, runaway programs, counseling and support, in-house medical and dental services, mobile medical vans, and education and career development.

Innovo worked closely with Bridge to create a free, downloadable app, named Bridge Over Trouble Waters, which provides critical information about statewide resources for homeless youth and their families. The first of its kind in the state of Massachusetts, the app is currently available in app stores. It leverages technological advances to extend the availability and efficacy of Bridge programs and services, using every tool available to help youth and families move on to stable lives with meaningful work and safe, affordable housing.

Artists for Humanity

Artists for Humanity (AFH) is on a quest to bridge economic, racial, and social divisions by providing underresourced urban youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in art and design. AFH’s mission is built on twin philosophies: Engagement in the creative process as a powerful force for social change, and creative entrepreneurship as a productive and life-changing opportunity for young people and their communities.

Innovo is proud to support AFH by commissioning an ongoing exhibit in our own workspace. The teen-designed artworks that grace our office walls do far more than help build the careers of deserving youth — they help create an engaging environment and provide a source of inspiration for our team. Art remains a cornerstone in building community, and we are delighted to promote this youth and cultural resource. We consider ourselves fortunate to showcase AFH creative designs throughout the year.
