Innovo is committed to social justice and community involvement — it’s part of the fabric of our organization. Running a business affords our team opportunities that stretch beyond revenue, and we value sharing our talents and resources to make a difference.
While there’s no shortage of organizations deserving support, we’re working to lift our community through the positive effect we can have on health care and the benefits of employment. By partnering with strategic allies who share the vision of “thinking globally and acting locally,” the Innovo team is focused on organizations where we can make a direct and meaningful impact on people’s lives.
Participating in our community enriches our team personally and professionally, often in ways we never imagined. We are proud to share the influence we’re having and how our work with you is playing a part. The organizations highlighted here represent just a few of the incredible partners we regularly support. We invite you to learn more about their missions and the meaningful difference they are making in our local community, nationwide and across the globe.
Amani Centre for Children
Amani Kids is dedicated to empowering Tanzanian children who live on the streets to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Its mission is to connect these children with organizations, institutions, and programs that provide support, guidance, and resources tailored to their unique needs. Each year, Amani rescues up to 300 children from the streets and from abuse and gives them a second chance at life. These children are taken into temporary residential shelters, where they receive loving care and holistic support in the form of food, shelter, education, and psychotherapeutic support.
Innovo supports Amani by providing essential funding to its Child Counseling Program, which assists children at its centers in Moshi and Arusha through the most critical stage of their healing journey, helping them to prepare for better futures. In 2024, this program reached 438 children, and a total of over 275 intensive counseling sessions were held for individual children with a focus on helping them process and overcome past trauma, build their self-esteem, and learn to live as a community and manage their stress and emotions.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters is Boston’s foremost agency providing life-changing services for the unhoused, runaway and at-risk youth. Founded in 1970, they remain a national leader in innovative, youth-centered programs that help young people ages 14 – 24 build stable, independent futures. Bridge services span street outreach, meeting individuals where they are without barriers, runaway programs, mobile medical vans, behavioral health and addiction programs, education, life skills and career development programs and residence programs with the goal of independent living.
Innovo has partnered closely with Bridge over the years to provide financial assistance for critical, healthcare-related services. This has included funding the ongoing operations of a medical van, and the launch of their DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) pilot program. Most recently, we were proud to support a wide range of research enabling Bridge to identify best practices for serving unhoused youth and to evaluate, refine and share the efficacy of their approach with organizations nationwide. As an organization deeply connected to the healthcare industry, we are particularly committed to advancing research on the mental health complexities of youth experiencing homelessness, including substance use disorders and the role of social connectedness.
